Up and Coming Authors

Up and Coming Authors
"My writing has been influenced by Stephen King, Clive Barker, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz, Tom Clancy, and movies like the Indiana Jones series. I think my style is more conversational than most of the authors I read. I like a lot of action, adventure and especially suspense. I was a systems analyst and have a MS is Systems Management. That training and experience has influenced me to plan a logical story with tightly integrated subplots. Stephen King says he likes to scare people (with his stories). I like to surprise people with plot twists they didn't see coming and an ending they can't guess." -David Lynn Anderson:

“Fairy tales were not my escape from reality as a child; rather, they were my reality -- for mine was a world in which good and evil were not abstract concepts, and like fairy-tale heroines, no magic would save me unless I had the wit and heart and courage to use it widely.” ― Terri Windling The Wood Wife (1996)
